Welcome!

Welcome to 6th grade! My name is Mrs. Dayhoff, and I am in my eighth year at YBMS as a science and language arts teacher.

I grew up in Carlisle, and graduated from Cumberland Valley in 2009. I have always loved Boiling Springs and hoped I would end up here one day. My undergraduate degree in middle level education is from Messiah University. In 2020, I completed my master's degree in literacy with a certification as a literacy specialist at Penn State Harrisburg. Then, in the spring of 2021, I completed my certification in English as a Second Language.

My husband, Kyle, is a PE teacher here at YBMS. We have a sweet baby girl, who was born in November of 2021, named Charlotte. We also have a precious yellow lab named Piper who loves to fetch more than anything. In my free time, I enjoy running, lifting, crafting, and lots coffee to keep me going.
