I have a few rules and expectations for my classroom.

1. Be prepared for class - this means having your books, paper, a pencil and binder or folder for the class. Once we get laptops, this will mean having laptops (charged!) for every class. 

2. Participation - The most successful way to learn a language is to use it! My goal is to create a classroom environment where you feel comfortable participating and you know that it is okay to make mistakes. 

3. Respect -  have respect for me, others AND yourself. Students should not talk while the teacher or classmates are talking. They should respect the property in the classroom by using it properly. This will create a better classroom environment for learning and keep negative behavior to a minimum. 

4. HAVE FUN! -  learning French is exciting but also stressful for some students. Remember that learning French will be fun and enjoyable if you participate in the activities, keep an open mind and realize that making mistakes is part of learning a language.
